Our classic natural rubber hot water bottle is manufactured according to the high quality standard BS 1970:2012. The high-quality cover made of organic cotton ensures a soft, comfortable feel when in use. Our cover is GOTS-certified and the natural rubber used to make the hot water bottle comes from certified sustainable forestry.

The natural rubber hot water bottle is filled with warm water and gives off heat to the human body. The hot water bottle can be used for heat applications when you generally feel cold.

Application

Before use, remove the hot water bottle from the cover if necessary and check the bottle and the cap for wear and damage. Then put the hot water bottle back in a cover before filling.
Never use boiling water (max. 50 °C) when filling the hot water bottle.
If a hot water bottle is overfilled, the formation of water vapor can cause it to swell and, in the worst case, burst. Therefore, make sure that you only fill it two-thirds full.
To fill the hot water bottle, hold it upright by the neck of the bottle and pour the water in slowly to avoid hot water splashes. If the water contains chlorine: Do not use hot water directly from the tap, as this can significantly reduce the lifespan of the bottle. Instead, we recommend heating the water in a pot or kettle, but do not bring it to the boil. If possible, do not use water that contains a lot of lime or copper.
Remove the air from the hot water bottle by gently pressing it out on a flat surface until water is visible at the filling opening. Screw the cap tight enough to prevent the hot water bottle from leaking. Hand tightening is sufficient. Be careful not to overtighten the cap. Finally, check that the funnel is empty and the bottle is leak-proof by turning it over a sink and squeezing it gently. If the hot water bottle is in prolonged contact with the skin, it should be used with a suitable fabric cover to avoid burns.
