GRÜNSPECHT organic lanolin wool is natural virgin wool sourced from controlled organic animal husbandry. Due to its high content of natural lanolin (wool grease), this wool is ideal for the soothing care of sensitive skin areas – especially in the diaper area or during breastfeeding. Whether for sore nipples or delicate baby skin, the wool forms a protective, breathable layer on the skin, providing nourishment. It is soft, supple, and exceptionally skin-friendly – ​​completely free of additives. The practical, resealable dispenser box ensures hygienic storage and easy dispensing. Our lanolin wool is manufactured in Germany.

Areas of application

The grease wool is suitable:

• For insertion into the diaper to care for sore baby bottoms
• For insertion into the bra to care for sore nipples during breastfeeding.
• For covering and caring for sensitive skin areas

To apply, a small piece of wool is pulled from the skein and placed on the affected area. Fresh wool should be used before each new application.

Place a small piece of wool between the skin and the diaper – it forms a protective, oily layer without sealing the skin. Please use fresh wool before each use.

Can I also use the lanolin-rich wool for sore nipples while breastfeeding?
Yes, many breastfeeding mothers use organic lanolin-rich wool to gently care for sore nipples. Simply place a piece of wool on clean skin – the lanolin it contains provides natural care. Please remove any residue before breastfeeding.

What is the difference between greased wool and healing wool?
"Healing wool" is a colloquial term that suggests medical benefits. Since GRÜNSPECHT organic grease wool is a consumer product and not a medical device, we use the legally correct term.Grease wool.

Is the organic greased wool washable or reusable?
No, for hygienic reasons, the grease-treated wool should be disposed of after a single use. It is neither washable nor reusable.

Our virgin wool comes from controlled organic animal husbandry (kbT) of sheep in Germany. It is gently shorn, carefully carded and then packaged here in Germany.
