Description

Children discover the world with all their senses. With finger paints, little ones can unleash their creativity, paint, mix, experiment, and create their first works of art. They can create imaginative pictures with their fingers, but also with tools like brushes, stamps, or sponges. This trains motor skills and creativity. The paints are ideal for paper, cardboard, wood, and stone. On glass, the paint may adhere and might not be completely removable. They are particularly creamy, making them less likely to drip. The finger paint has been tested by an independent testing institute in accordance with toy standard DIN EN 71-7. We recommend the finger paint from the age of 2 years.

Applications

Finger paints enable creative painting, experimentation, and the creation of first artworks with fingers as well as tools such as brushes, stamps, or sponges. Suitable for paper, cardboard, wood, and stone; recommended from 2 years of age. Stir or shake well before use. Clean hands before and after use. Seal cans airtight after use. Do not store opened cans for extended periods; observe best-before date. Colors will lighten after drying.

Material:

Ingredients: Water, corn starch (organic), salt, sorbitol, clay, calcium carbonate, xanthan gum, mineral and vegetable pigments of cosmetic and food grade quality.

Preservative: Phenoxyethanol.

Bittering agent: Denatonium benzoate.

Vegan and free from gluten, soy, dairy, palm oil, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and parabens.

Care instructions:

Textiles can be machine washed if soiled; remove coarse residue beforehand with lukewarm water. Treat larger textiles carefully with a sponge/soft cloth, delicate detergent, and a little water, then dab with lukewarm water. Smooth surfaces can be wiped clean. Avoid contact with light-colored and sensitive textiles/surfaces.

Shelf life and disposal:

Separate packaging components by type and dispose of them in the appropriate recycling system. Observe regional disposal guidelines.

What is the recommended age for the finger paint?The paints are specially developed for children aged 2 and above. Children under 3 years old should be supervised by parents.

Is the finger paint washable?

Yes, it is water-soluble and can be easily removed from skin and smooth surfaces. Clothes can be cleaned in the washing machine. Coarse residue should be rinsed out beforehand with lukewarm water. For larger textiles, stains can be treated with a sponge or soft cloth and fine detergent, then blotted with lukewarm water.

What ingredients are used?

The paints consist of raw materials and plant pigments of food and cosmetic quality. They are vegan and free from palm oil, soy, parabens, milk, egg, and nuts.

Is the paint really safe for skin contact or if it gets into the mouth?

Yes, the paint is non-toxic and contains only skin-friendly ingredients. Additionally, a bitter agent is included to deter children from swallowing the paint.

Where is the paint manufactured?

GRÜNSPECHT finger paints are manufactured in Germany and comply with the European toy standard DIN EN 71-7.

How long do the paints last?

Unopened, the finger paint is shelf-stable according to the best-before date on the packaging. After opening, use as soon as possible and seal airtight to prevent drying out or spoilage.

Tips & Notes:Storage: After use, close the cups tightly and store in a dry place. Use soon after opening, as the paint contains no preservatives. Cleaning: The paint is water-soluble – clean skin with warm water and soap. Rinse clothes cold before washing, then wash at 30 °C.

The colors lose some intensity and become lighter after drying. This is not a quality defect and is unavoidable due to the natural color pigments.
