Our GRÜNSPECHT cherry pit heat pad in the size 43 x 20 cm is a heat pad with natural filling for targeted relief of discomfort such as tension, abdominal pain, menstrual cramps or feelings of cold.

The filling consists of carefully dried, food-grade cherry pits that retain heat for extended periods and release it gently and evenly. The high-quality half-panama cotton cover (OEKO-TEX Standard 100) ensures a pleasant feel against the skin and makes the pillow a durable companion. For improved heat distribution and retention, the pillow is divided into three chambers.

Thanks to simple heating in the microwave or oven, the pillow is quickly ready for use. It is produced in Germany under fair working conditions. The cherry pits are filled in workshops for people with disabilities. The heat pillow comes in a gift box that can also be used for storage or as a gift.

The cherry pit pillow is ideally suited as a heat pad for older children (14 years and older) and adults for:

• Abdominal pain/cramps
• Constipation and flatulence
• A cold
• Muscle pain/stiffness

Of course, the heating pad is also the perfect source of warmth for cold feet and hands, or for relaxation after a strenuous day.

Heating instructions:

Our cherry pit pillow can be heated quickly and easily.

• Oven: At max. 110 °C for max. 5 minutes (not preheated)
• Microwave: At max. 300 watts for max. 2 minutes (refer to microwave manufacturer's instructions)
• Heating on a radiator or tiled stove is also possible.
  

After heating, the pillow should be shaken to distribute the heat evenly.

A notice:Before heating, the pillow should be checked for unusual odors, mildew, or burn marks and discarded immediately if any are found. Slight moisture may appear on the surface during the first heating, but this will disappear with repeated use.

How is the cherry pit pillow used?
This pillow is a natural heat pack and is suitable for relieving tension, menstrual cramps, or stomach aches, among other things. Simply heat it according to the instructions, place it on the desired area of ​​the body, and enjoy the soothing warmth.

What are the options for heating?
The topper can be heated in the microwave or oven:

• Microwave: at 300 watts for a maximum of 1 minute
• Oven (preheated): at a maximum of 110 °C for up to 5 minutes
• Please do not overheat and always check the temperature carefully, especially around children.
• The pillow should not be left unattended while warming up.
  
  

What to do if the pillow is still too cold?
The specified times ensure that the cherry pits reach a safe temperature. Since microwave oven power can vary, the pillow can be reheated in 15-second increments if necessary – always at a low wattage and under supervision. After heating, shake briefly to ensure even heat distribution.

Can children also use the pillow?
Yes, the heat pack is well-suited for children aged 14 and up. It feels pleasant and provides gentle warmth. Always check the temperature before applying it. For babies and toddlers, we recommend smaller grain-filled pillows (e.g., with grape seeds or flax seeds) or our cuddly toys with integrated heat packs, as these are lighter and snuggle up perfectly.

What is the pillow made of?
The filling consists of dried, cleaned cherry pits. The cover is made of 100% cotton and is certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Can the pillow be washed?
No, please do not put it in the washing machine or dryer. Moisture would damage the cores. To care for it, simply wipe the fabric gently with a damp cloth.
