Natural rubber hot water bottle, without cover

Description

Our classic natural rubber hot water bottle is manufactured according to the high quality standard BS 1970:2012. The natural rubber used for the production of the hot water bottle comes from certified sustainable forestry.

The natural rubber hot water bottle is filled with warm water and releases heat to the human body. The hot water bottle can be used for heat therapy when feeling generally cold.

Instructions for use

If necessary, remove the hot water bottle from its cover before use and check the bottle and cap for wear and tear.
Check for damage. Then, before filling, place the hot water bottle back into its cover. Never use boiling water (max. 50 °C) when filling the hot water bottle.

Overfilling a hot water bottle can cause it to swell due to the formation of steam, and in the worst case, to burst. Therefore, always make sure to fill it only two-thirds full.

Hold the hot water bottle upright by the neck to fill it and pour in the water slowly to avoid hot water splashes. If you have chlorinated water: Do not use hot water directly from the tap, as this can significantly reduce the bottle's lifespan. Instead, we recommend heating the water in a pot or kettle, but do not bring it to a boil. Avoid using water with a high calcium or copper content if possible.

Remove the air from the hot water bottle by gently squeezing it on a flat surface until water is visible at the opening. Screw the cap on tightly enough to prevent leaks. Hand-tightening is sufficient. Be careful not to overtighten. Finally, check that the funnel is empty and the bottle is leak-proof by turning it upside down over a sink and gently squeezing it. For prolonged skin contact, the hot water bottle should be used with a suitable fabric cover to prevent burns.

Care instructions:

• Do not use abrasive cleaners, all-purpose cleaners or other cleaning agents! Simply wipe the hot water bottle with a damp cloth.
• After use, empty the hot water bottle completely and store it with the cap unscrewed - preferably with the opening facing downwards - in a cool, dry and dark place and protect it from direct sunlight.
• Do not place anything on the hot water bottle during storage.
• Protect from contact with oil or grease.

Shelf life and disposal

• It is recommended that you replace the hot water bottle with a new one after a maximum period of two years of normal use.
• If there is any wear, cracks, brittleness or other damage, do not use the hot water bottle under any circumstances.
• The hot water bottle can be disposed of in the residual waste and thermally recycled without any problems.
• Please separate the individual components of the packaging and send them to the appropriate recycling system.
