Natural Rubber Hot Water Bottle with Cover

Description

Our classic natural rubber hot water bottle is manufactured according to the high quality standard BS 1970:2012. The high-quality organic cotton cover ensures a soft, pleasant feel during use. Our cover is GOTS certified, and the rubber used to make the hot water bottle comes from certified sustainable forestry.

Areas of application

The natural rubber hot water bottle is filled with warm water and transfers heat to the human body. The hot water bottle can be used for warmth applications in cases of general coldness.

• Before use, remove the hot water bottle from its cover if necessary and check both the bottle and the stopper for wear and damage.
• Then, before filling, place the hot water bottle back into a cover.
• Never use boiling water when filling (max. 50 °C) and only fill to two-thirds capacity.
• Hold the hot water bottle upright by the neck when filling and pour water in slowly.
• Gently press out air until water is visible at the filling opening, tighten the stopper hand-tight, and check for leaks.

For prolonged skin contact, the hot water bottle should be used with a suitable fabric cover to prevent burns.

Care instructions

• After use, completely empty the hot water bottle and store it with the stopper removed – preferably with the opening facing downwards – in a cool, dry and dark place.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Do not place anything on the hot water bottle during storage.
• Protect from contact with oil or grease.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, all-purpose cleaners or other cleaning agents.
• Simply wipe the hot water bottle with a damp cloth.
• The cover supplied with item 644-00/645-00 is removable and machine washable at 30°C.
• Recommendation: Wash the cover on a low spin cycle and, for particularly gentle cleaning, in a laundry net. Observe the care symbols on the cover.

Durability and disposal

It is recommended to replace the hot water bottle with a new one after a maximum period of use of two years with normal use. If there is wear and tear, cracks, brittleness or other damage, do not continue to use the hot water bottle under any circumstances. The hot water bottle can be disposed of with residual waste. Please separate the individual components of the packaging by type and feed them into the appropriate recycling system. Please observe regional disposal guidelines.
