1994
Foundation of the company
In 1994, our company was founded in Heidenheim as a civil law partnership with the name “Kirschkern Natur produkte GbR”
1998
Name change and relocation
In 1998, the company obtained the status of a registered merchant, changed its name to “GRÜNSPECHT Naturprodukte e.K.”, and relocated to Ingolstadt.
2001
First successes
In 2001, the first major customers and drugstore chains were supplied.
2004
New brand
ELANEE was registered as a trademark in 2004 and comprises products for pregnancy, breastfeeding and women’s health.
2012
Getting bigger step by step
In 2012, the company moved into a new building in the industrial estate Karlskron/Brautlach.
2014
Change
In September 2014, we changed the name again to “GRÜNSPECHT Naturprodukte GmbH”, reflecting its new legal form as a limited liability company.
2015
Enlargement
In the fall of 2015, an extension with additional office space was completed.
2016
New skills
In 2016, we were certified in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and developed our first organic baby textile collection.
2017
New concepts and enhancements
In 2017 we rounded off our ELANEE intimate health range with a variety of products. In the warming product sector we have extended our Cuddle Family with the warming cuddle babies and incorporated organic hot water bottles into the range.
2018
Innovative novelties
In 2018, we included our first electric device in the range, the ELANEE breast massager. With our organic baby impression set made of organic potato starch and our organic pacifiers made of natural rubber, we have added innovative products to our baby range. In addition, since this year we also produce warming products in GOTS quality.
2019
Big anniversary
Our company GRÜNSPECHT celebrates 25 years and our brand ELANEE 15 years.
2020
New European Medical Device Regulation
In 2020, all our medical devices were adapted to the new European Medical Devices Regulation.
